Kate spade purses and Handbags

       The Kate Spade collection was created by Kate Noel Brosnahan Spade in Kansas City, Missouri. While working for a popular magazine, Kate noticed there weren't very many functional purses that were also stylish. Thus began her journey into handbags will the launch of her bag line in 1993.

       With the help of her husband Andy in advertising, the Kate Spade handbag collection took off and was already winning awards by 1996. The purses fall in to the afforadable luxury category with many of them containing 14 karat gold. They have a simple, yet exquisite design that empasize fashion and flexibility.
