5BROWN ROSSANA CROSSBODY HOBO BAG  May 24, 2012
By BRENDA ROBERTSON "dinosaur_54"
The purse is made with a durable but soft and flexible leather like material. It comes with a cloth bag for storing the purse when you're not using it. There is plenty of room for everything. There are lots of compartments, one under the flap on the front, one zipper pocket on the back, 2 compartments inside on each side of the purse that snap. Then there is a middle compartment that zips. Inside the middle compartment are 3 more compartments, the middle one with a zipper and 2 separate ones located on each side of that zipper compartment and in one side is another zipper compartment and in the other side there are 2 pockets sized for cell phones etc..... There are so many compartments, I sometimes forget where things are in my purse. The braided handles add character to the purse and I like the shoulder strap that comes with it. I bought the dark chocolate brown purse and I love it!!

3Little Disappointed  Jan 25, 2013
By Miss "Belle"
Haven't used the purse yet, but on first inspection, I am a little disappointed. I knew it would be large, but it's huge. The material is nice and the chevron shaped trim is pretty. There is an outside pocket...the chevrons are the flap that covers it. I cannot figure out how you could use it with the strap because the two braided handles would flop over without actually folding down. Purchased it for a trip, so will just give it a try since it will hold everything I will need to carry.

2Cheap hardware  Oct 28, 2012
By Julia
I had planned on using this bag primarily as a cross-body purse. While I don't usually stuff my purse full with heavy objects, it's never empty either; this was supposed to be a good working, functional purse. Upon first inspection I found the main compartments to be more shallow than I had thought, given the size of the purse overall. The inside lining doesn't extend all the way to what would look like the bottom of the purse from the outside. I figured I would just have to deal with it and learn to not carry around as much. Then, after about 2-3 weeks of using this purse every day, the clasp connecting the shoulder strap to the purse snapped into several small pieces. The hardware is obviously not metal, or at least any kind of good metal. I've learned my lesson with buying purses that have detachable shoulder straps (don't do it! Go for an actual cross-body if you want a messenger style!). The handles can be somewhat awkward to deal with but I had assumed as much from the picture. Also, the color wasn't what I imagined - maybe it's my computer screen, but it looked like a yellow-greenish teal, whereas in person it's more of a peacock-bluish (much darker, almost muddy) teal. Not terrible, but again, not what I had expected. I'm not sure how this purse holds up in the long run since I immediately stopped using it once the shoulder strap broke but I did notice the paint was starting to chip off at some of the edges.

I would have given this purse a higher rating if I had only wanted to use it as a handbag, or if it wasn't as expensive as it was. It does look unique and appealing - I got more than one compliment on it - so I regret that it didn't fulfill my needs.
