This bag is light due to the nylon fabric, and can hold a nice amount (and it will fit a water bottle, too), but I think the current price ($48) is too much for nylon. I also didn't really care for the design of the two long rubbery pull tabs on the exterior zippers. I will continue to use it, but probably wouldn't buy another mainly due to the price.

I purchased this bag in black at Ross Department Stores. However, since I shop on Amazon all the time, I wanted to write a review when I saw that Amazon sold this particular Kenneth Cole Handbag.
I had been looking for a casual shoulder bag that would stay on the shoulder. I did not want the "in style" huge suitcase bags that everyone is carrying. There is simply not that much stuff to put into one of those monster handbags. This bag is perfect, not heavy and it STAYS on your shoulder. It actually holds more "stuff" than may appear in the picture.
You won't regret buying this handbag - I only wish Kenneth Cole made one exactly like this in a dressy material or a leather material for more formal occasions. Finally, a bag that isn't a suitcase.

My boyfriend is under the misconception that I love every bag that I get, but that is in fact incorrect. It's not that I love every bag, I tolerate it, until what I really want comes along. And it finally did. I'm happy for a number of reasons.
1. I ordered it on Wednesday and it was delivered on Friday. Excellent!!
2. It's perfect for me, because it has so many pockets, and it's big enough to hold a paperback, if you don't carry a lot of other things around in your bag.
3. I hate carrying a purse, and this one, I don't have to carry.
I just get annoyed when they don't stay on your shoulder, or you adopt that hunched walk because you put too much stuff in your purse and it's heavy, and blah blah blah. This makes it simple. The strap is sturdy but comfortable. It's adjustable, if you are not a bony macaroni type. And it's just enough room for what's important, so no glutenous overfill. Plus, it slips on easily, so hands are free for more important things, like putting them in your pockets when it's cold, and still feeling secure with your bag.
I love this bag, oh, I forgot to mention, it is so cute. :)

well suited for my purpose. It is light weight & eliminates the need to carry or place a purse in a cart. My only complaint is that it is NOT easy to keep clean. Over all, I am happy with the item.

I bought this in brown (chocolate) for travelling, but by the time I got home from my trip was so won over that I use it for everyday. It was the ideal travel bag: easy, flexible, casual or dressy and marvelous compartments. The design is great- both in terms of its functionality and its form/fashion. I want one in every color!
