Love this bag - so cute and functional - easy way to fix clasp is to take it to a luggage/bag repair shop and have them move one side of the strap to the opposite side of the purse - force from contents is not strong enough to pop open --- amazon PLEASE get this in saffron so I can purchase it!

I own this bag in black and would happily buy it again in the saffron or mulberry. I've had it for about six months and carry it every day. It's the second Hobo bag I've owned and still a great investment.
The front pocket is ideal for keys and other items you need quickly, and the main compartment is ideally sized for everyday (big enough for a large wallet, a hardcover book, glasses case, phone, and small makeup bag, with room to spare). Plus the paisley lining is cute.
It is true that if you try to overfill this bag, the top clasp will pop open. That's been true of every clasp bag I've ever owned - if you tend to stuff your bags to the gills, I recommend either buying a larger bag or sticking with open top or zip top bags. The only time this has happened to me is when I threw in a pair of heels (the bag is not large enough to carry a change of shoes), or when I put in something really heavy. Since the bag doesn't have a structured bottom, anything that weighs more than a few pounds will pull the top open.
But the clasp closure is a great vintage detail, and in keeping with the other great Hobo features, like the patterned lining and weathered leather.

The clasp does come undone if I have too much in the purse. However, it's so adorable, and cute that I don't care half the time.
