Excellent value for high quality leather May 05, 2010
This is an extremely well made bag with thick, supple, high quality leather. The Madison Shopper contains all the features of a high quality bag that will last a lifetime: 1) recessed zipper for security; 2) metal feet on bottom to prevent scratching; 3) double handles for ease of entry; and 4) contrasting lining with compartments for easy retrieval of items, and 5) structured bottom. The side pockets also have the contrastive lining in a rich purple color. The hardware is substantial and its two-tone color will match more outfits. I own many B Mak bags and this is definitely one of the best. The pistachio color is a bit brighter in real life than it appears on the Internet.
